Our Response to Covid-19 Lockdown in NSW

Last updated: 09 September 2021

We are still Open for Business!

Irving Gunawan and Ray White Kellyville know that your home is where you feel safe, and we are committed to keeping it that way for all our clients. We may be in Lockdown, but we are still open for business and working hard to continue servicing our property sellers and buyers. Due to COVID-19, we have implemented temporary measures to ensure the safety of our customers in selling or purchasing a property.

COVID-19 updates in brief:

  • Restrictions are in place for all of NSW, and there are rules for workers and residents in local government areas (LGA) of concern:

    • Bayside

    • Blacktown

    • Burwood

    • Campbelltown

    • Canterbury-Bankstown

    • Cumberland

    • Fairfield

    • Georges River

    • Liverpool

    • Parramatta

    • Strathfield

    • Penrith for the following suburbs: Caddens, Claremont Meadows, Colyton, Erskine Park, Kemps Creek, Kingswood, Mount Vernon, North St Marys, Orchard Hills, Oxley Park, St Clair and St Marys.

  • If you live or work in a local government area (LGA) of concern or live in Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains or Wollongong and need to travel outside your local area, you may need to register your travel.

  • You'll need to register your travel if you're:

    • an authorised worker living in a local government area (LGA) of concern, and you need to leave your area for work. This includes travelling to another LGA of concern (also known as a 'workers permit’).

    • Entering an LGA of concern for work (also known as a ‘workers permit’).

    • From a non-area of concern, and you need to travel more than 50km outside of Greater Sydney for work, and you cannot work from home

    • permanently moving to a new residence outside of Greater Sydney.

    • inspecting a property outside of Greater Sydney because you genuinely need a place to live in (no investment properties)

    • moving between residences, including travelling to your second home if you:

    • are using the home for work (if so, only the worker may travel), or

    • need to undertake urgent maintenance, repairs, or attend to animal welfare (if so, only one person may travel to the second home).

  • There are also updated rules for construction and renovations, repairs, maintenance and cleaning work.

Find out if you need to register your travel by inputting your addresses through NSW Government Travel Register Checker.

Register your travel with the NSW government (currently permit will automatically be extended to 30 September 2021).
